One of the most important factors in choosing restaurant equipment is determining whether or not it’s tough enough to withstand a commercial kitchen. Here’s a Sandwich Prep Table built with a 304 stainless steel interior, work surface, top lid and hood, and wrapped in a 430 stainless steel exterior. The bottom and back are both made of galvanized steel. Two and a half inches of foamed in polyurethane insulation keeps the unit cool. The refrigeration is side-mounted in a removable panel. Its condenser slides out to simplify cleaning and maintenance. R-134A is the refrigerant used with this system. Its air defrost function is temperature initiated and terminated, so it works when it needs to work, and stops working when the job is completed. The doors have rounded corners and recessed handles. Frame heaters prevent the build-up of condensation on them. A snap-in magnetic gasket can be cleaned or replaced very handily. Two epoxy coated wire shelves help to carry the cargo of the unit. Safety-shielded interior lighting illuminates the unit. The prep area is helped in keeping cool by 1/2 inch of polyurethane foam. The sanitary cutting board is 12 inch x 1/4 inch , and it’s also removable and adjustable. Eight sanitary PVC 1/6 size pans are provided with the table and sit across the top of the work surface lengthwise. They can be protected by closing the lid. Swivel casters are used to support the unit. They have front locking brakes.
