The electric Halo Heat Slo Cook and Smoker Oven, which is made of stainless steel, makes use of lower temperatures to cook tender and tasty meats while saving energy and reducing labor. It holds 3 full size pans or 7 sheet pans, for a total weight capacity of 120 lbs., on its two shelves. Two stainless steel side racks offer 11 pan positions. A magnetic door latch keeps your oven tightly closed while you’re cooking. A drip pan with a drain is supplied to simplify cleaning. A rib rack is included for making perfect, slow cooked ribs. A temperature probe is also included if you prefer cooking by temperature to cooking by time. The wood chip container allows you to use real wood chips for smoking your foods. One sample bag each of Cherry, Apple, Maple and Hickory chips are supplied with the cooker. You may cook, smoke, roast, hold, or reheat meats, poultry and fish, or cold smoke fish and cheese. The electronic controls have a power key and a start key for beginning functions. They manage a cooking temperature range of 200-325F, a holding range of 60-205F and the probe, which covers an internal temperature range of 50-195F. Cooking times may be set between 1 minute and 24 hours, and smoking times may be set between 1 minute and 1 hour. The holding timer counts up rather than down. Eight pro-grammable menu keys allow you to store recipes and cooking instructions. Halo Heat is a still form of heat which protects your foods from the blending of flavors.
