The True GDM-05PT-HC~TSL01 is a countertop merchandiser designed for pass-thru operations with swinging glass doors on the front and back of the cabinet. These self-closing double-pane doors have magnetic gaskets to seal in cold air, ensuring that products stay chilled. The exterior is powder-coated black to protect against scratches and rust, while the interior is lined with aluminum and features a stainless steel floor to resist bending from use.
This refrigerated merchandiser comes with two adjustable shelves made of heavy-duty wire for strength and coated with PVC for easy cleaning and corrosion prevention. LED lights illuminate the interior and are safety shielded to prevent breakage if accidentally struck during restocking. The top-mounted compressor exhausts heat away from the cold storage area and is fronted with an illuminated panel for signage.
The unit’s reverse condensing fan motor is a feature that helps extend its lifespan. When the compressor starts, it runs in reverse for 20 seconds to clear the condensing coil of dust and debris, ensuring proper product temperature and reducing energy consumption. While this feature is beneficial, it doesn’t replace the need for routine preventative maintenance.”
