The Edlund Edvantage EDV-12 Compact Heavy-Duty Meat Slicer is a fully-loaded slicer with a small footprint. This slicer has a powerful belt-driven motor and has a 1/2 HP motor for commercial use. The anodized cast aluminum and stainless construction means this slicer is easy to clean and keep sanitary. A forged, hardened 12″ carbon steel blade includes a built-in dual stone sharpener to keep it performing its best. The sealed housing of this unit keeps moisture from damaging interior parts and makes it easy to clean. Switches are mounted on top of the slicer to reduce failures and keep operators safe. A wide gap between the blade and housing unit allows for thorough cleaning.
