This one-section Undercounter Freezer pulls double-duty in the kitchen, because in addition to having 9 cubic feet of storage capacity, it also has a 16 gauge stainless steel work surface top. Made of stainless steel, it’s surrounded with 2.5 inch polyurethane foam insulation. The refrigeration is side-mounted, and the condenser slides out for simple cleaning and maintenance. R-404A refrigerant is used to help keep the unit icy cold while protecting the environment. An electrically timed air defrost can be scheduled to operate every 3 to 12 hours, and is terminated by time and temperature to ensure the proper restart of freezing. Its self-closing door has rounded corners and a recessed handle. A door frame heater aids in stopping the formation of condensation. Two epoxy coated wire shelves come standard with the piece. Safety-shielded interior lighting improves visibility inside the case. Push buttons allow you to set and adjust the temperature range of -10 to 32F.
