Heavy-duty, 7″ and 6″ cast-iron burner plates by Waring heat up quickly and evenly. There’s a 1300-watt large plate for fast cooking, and a 500-watt small plate for simmering and warming (1800 total watts). Both plates have the heating elements embedded in the cast iron for maximum heat distribution and quick heat-up time.
